Privacy
Your chat never leaves your device. When you choose an export, your browser reads it and builds the PDF on your phone or computer. We do not receive, store or see your messages, photos, names or files.
What our server sends you
Only the website itself: pages, fonts and emoji images, all from our own domain. No third-party trackers, no advertising, no cookies of ours. The one exception is the payment window from Paddle, described below. The website and the unlock service are hosted by Cloudflare; no chat content ever reaches it.
What leaves your device
Only this goes to our service. The first three items only when you pay:
- an anonymous fingerprint of the chat: a one-way hash that cannot be reversed into your messages. It ties your unlock to that chat;
- the product you chose;
- the transaction ID, or your Pack code;
- anonymous step counts, at any time (see Statistics).
Like any web request, each request to our service, whether a payment or a step count, also shows it your IP address and browser type. We don't store your IP address or browser type. To limit repeated attempts, the service keeps only a keyed, shortened hash of the IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address, and deletes it within a day.
The same fingerprint and product also go to Paddle with your order, so the payment can be matched to your chat. No text, photo, name or file of the chat is ever sent.
Statistics
We count anonymous steps, for example a page visited, a chat opened, a preview shown, a payment window opened or a PDF created, as daily totals, to know if the site works. No cookies, no identifiers in the counts, no tracking of you across visits: each step is just one more on that day's counter. Your chat's content and file names are never sent. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we count nothing.
Payments
Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and the merchant of record. The checkout loads from Paddle (cdn.paddle.com) only when you click to pay; Paddle may set its own cookies there, under its privacy notice. Your email and payment details go only to Paddle, never to us. We never see your card details. Paddle's own privacy notice explains how it uses them.
What your browser keeps
Your browser stores your unlock and your Pack codes on your device, so they work next time. If you close or follow the language suggestion at the top of the page, or pick a language at the bottom, it also remembers not to show it again. You can remove them by clearing the site data for this website. Clearing it also removes the 30-day re-download permit for a chat. If that happens, write to us with your receipt or transaction ID. If you have a Pack, enter your Pack code again. Keep your Pack code and receipt.
After your first visit, your browser also keeps an offline copy of this website, its code, pages, fonts and emoji images, so in most browsers the app opens without a connection. It contains no text, photos, names or files from your chats. Clearing the site data removes it.
